Novedades en las coberturas para los autónomos a partir del 1 de enero de 2019
La principal idea del pacto al que han llegado Gobierno y representantes de los autónomos es que, a cambio de aumentar la base mínima 5,36 euros al mes, se mejoren las coberturas. Estas son las principales novedades que se introducen.
1. Prestación por desempleo
Las prestaciones por desempleo se duplican de los 12 meses a los 24. El objetivo declarado es que el se utilice una posibilidad que, hasta ahora, no era de uso común. Para conseguir que la prestación se conceda efectivamente, la idea es flexibilizar el acceso y los trámites. De esta manera, el pago suplementario de coberturas cundirá a los autónomos.
2. Baja por enfermedad o accidente laboral
En este caso, se pretende mejorar las coberturas para los autónomos en caso de enfermedad o accidente. La principal novedad es que se podrá cobrar la cobertura desde el primer día de la baja, sin tener que esperar como hasta ahora. A partir del segundo mes de baja, el autónomo no tendrá que pagar la cotización a la Seguridad Social.
3. Persecución a los falsos autónomos
Uno de los objetivos declarados es perseguir el fraude de ley. Por lo tanto, el Gobierno va a redoblar sus esfuerzos para perseguir los falsos autónomos. En este caso, el objetivo es multar a los empresarios con sanciones más cuantiosas. La idea es que se podrían llegar a pagar 10.000 euros por tener a un falso autónomo trabajando en un puesto que debería ser por cuenta ajena.
4. Prórroga del sistema de módulos
El proyecto del Gobierno es implantar un sistema de cotización de autónomos basado en los ingresos. Por el momento, el sistema de módulos se va a prorrogar un año más. Ahora bien, es importante decir que esta solución es provisional. Las condiciones para este sistema se han endurecido y el objetivo a medio plazo es minimizar los supuestos para acogerse.
5. Acceso a la formación
Hasta ahora, los autónomos tenían dificultades para acceder a los cursos de formación y reciclaje. Afortunadamente, con el nuevo acuerdo los profesionales por cuenta propia podrán realizar estos cursos sin discriminaciones. En consecuencia, esta es una opción para ampliar conocimientos y ponerse al día.
